Online Seminar: So, what’s next? The role of creative tourism in the regeneration of communities


This will be the first “global conversation” webinar within the umbrella of CREATOUR International will be held June 2, 2020 at 16:00h (Portugal/Lisbon timezone). Registration is open until May 31 (free).   In this moment of transition, the webinar “So, what’s next? The role of creative tourism in the regeneration of communities” contributes to current discussions on the future of small-scale and community-based creative tourism, and on community recovery and resilience. How can we work collectively to move forward together?   Keynote speakers are: Greg Richards, professor at Tilburg University and Breda University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands, the leading international researcher in the field of creative tourism; Nancy Duxbury, researcher at Centre for Social Studies, University of Coimbra, and PI of the CREATOUR project; Diana Zulaga, co-founder of 5Bogota: Travel with Locals, Colombia; and Kathleen Scherf, Professor of Communication and researcher on creative tourism at Thompson Rivers University, Canada, as moderator.
