CM Esposende | The Art of reed

“The Art of reed” is a project developed by the Municipality of Esposende. It is based on the creation of handicraft experiences based on (activities associated with the traditional art of reed work: by introducing innovation and creativity processes) resulting from a methodology of interaction between the local community and visitors.

Based on the uniqueness of the reed art it is intended to structure a creative tourism project based on the opportunity to offer unique experiences capable of stimulating their creative potential and that are deeply rooted in the life of the local community. The creative tourism project will be developed and based on the creation of workshops and “ateliers “that stimulate informal creative experiences, constituted by small groups of visitors (by registration).
